RIKA ZAYASU

I am a dedicated musician who aims to inspire through performing and teaching. My specialisms are piano repertoire of all genres and periods, and music theory and improvisation. I am active both as a teacher and performer, giving regular masterclasses, workshops, and concerts. I have taught at the University of York for 4 years, giving piano tuitions and chamber music coaching, and happy to cover ABRSMGrade/GCSEs/UCAS exams as well as more performance oriented entrance preparation for conservatoires and music schools. In 2016, I have founded a summer music festival Tudeley Festival of Chamber Music and Voice in Tudeley, Tonbridge, where I act as the music director and hold annual masterclasses. I have been involved with various projects, collaborated with numerous composers to bring their compositions available to the audiences at both major concert halls and more intimate performance platforms. I make teaching visits to university music departments and conservatoires and give a private teaching practice from my home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. A trained hypnotherapist, one-to-one enhanced piano lessons with hypnotherapy to unblock your true potentiality is also available upon request.
